JEFF BARRON ALSO EXPOSED THE MAYOR'S
"PAY FOR PROTECTION" PLAN - (Barron has been fired by
PDT)
Several businesses have been paying
special fees for
additional
police protection in the downtown area. Lee Scott of the
Columbia Music Hall refused to pay for
special
protection.
This was
published on the front page of the Portsmouth Daily Times on the 10th of November, 2007 by Writer JEFF
BARRON .who
reported
Scott said, “The crime near our place is next to nothing,”
he said.
“I’ve heard that people have lost some stereos. Maybe, but I’ve never had any problems with it.” Scott said city tax money
should
be enough to provide
adequate downtown security. (End of BARRON’s
Article.)
Lee Scott’s Columbia Music
Hall was nearly totally destroyed that night (3:00 a.m.11 November 2007)
by a fire that the United States ATF determined
was ARSON.
Scott's son falsely charged by
police
Lee’s son, Eddie
Scott, was cited to court by Portsmouth Police in the
early morning hours of the 2nd of November
as he drove away from his
workplace at the Columbia on charges of not having
insurance and driving
under
suspension. His vehicle was towed away by Police
order.
Eddie Scott did have valid
license and proper insurance.
The Police charges
were dismissed by the
Municipal Court Judge that same morning.
Lee Scott went back to work
again rebuilding the Columbia on Tuesday,
November 27, 2007. Read about the latest
harassment of Lee Scott by Mayor
